Hiram Walker

Hiram Walkers, makers of Canadian Club and the up-market Windsor brand bum whiskey, is a major Windsor employer. While I’m not sure if it’s the case anymore, for a long time Hiram Walker would list its address in its press releases as “Walkerville, Ontario” and note as being a Windsor suburb. Walkerville is actually a neighborhood within the city of Windsor itself. Since it’s very close to the downtown core, one could hardly even call it a suburb. But really, if you can avoid being associated with Windsor, why the fuck not?
